Still in There

Just a quick update (becuase I really can’t bring myself to spend very much time in front of a computer any more) to let you know that our precious babies are still in there.  I have to admit that in the last week or so there have been a few days where I really thought we might be meeting them, but they continue to thrive and stay put.

Today’s scan showed still plenty of fluid and two huge babies.  They are both around 2.7kgs now which at 34w3d is measuring well ahead for a singleton.  Our little wrigglers know what is best for them and are just growing beuatifully.

My blood pressure is still high although not really much higher than it has been, but the OB has put me on some mild blood pressure pills to help keep it in control.  In addition we went for a full blood count today just to double check for any signs of pre-eclampsia, but there is no protein in my urine and also did a glucose test but again no sugar in my urine.  So he is playing is cautiously and I am very happy with that.

So now we are at weekly scans so will have another update on how these little guys are fareing next week.

So exciting to hear how well they’re doing – they are growing so nicely in your tum. While I know it’s best to keep them in for as long as possible, I also can’t wait to “meet” them too 😉

Much love to the 4 of you

Such wonderful news to hear that the little ones are doing so well! You have created a really nice snuggly home for them…. My cousin in the UK (also with twins) went overdue and they actually only made their appearance in their 40th week, naturally! OMW!
It is so much better that you will be able to take them home with you and won’t need much “special care” from the NICU.

So looking forward to hearing of the little ones arrival

    Love Lea (FC)

Super mom, you are doing a superb job! Well done for keeping those babes baking, and hang in there girl! I just bet you feel ready to burst, but the longer the better, so keep on hanging in.

Glad you are hanging in there, although it must be getting uncomfortable now.
    Good luck!

  5. WAW !! You are doing great at carrying your precious babes !!
Yesterday, I was biking along-side lake Geneva and was thinking about you and thought maybe your LOs were being born. I also remembered thinking about you 2 years ago, when you went for your 1st IVF and realised how you two have travelled a long and beautiful road together. Congrats on your excellent team-work, H & H !!

Fantastic news Juanita!!!! They are so big and healthy! At this rate it doesn’t seem if they will be spending much time in NICU. Good luck to you and your babas!
